This is what we have been doing for nearly six decades in the field of the manufacturing of medical hand instruments. MEDICOR Hand Instrument Co. is Hungary’s leading and one of the world’s reputable manufacturers and distributors of medical hand instruments, and has had the desire to meet both professional and quality challenges in the past, present and future alike.

Since its foundation, this company of outstanding traditions has changed a lot in terms of operating profile, organizational structure, headcount of employees, but one thing has always remained unchanged: we keep deploying high standards and quality in making our hand instruments, devices whose use, application is essential in today’s modern medicine. Our achievements are clearly proven by the National Quality Award and European Quality Award (EFQM) earned for the ongoing maintenance and development of quality, as well as the fact that our Instrumentare present in a number of countries all over the world from the United States to Japan.

With its broad selection of instruments, MEDICOR Hand Instrument Co. is the only domestic manufacturer that has a distinguished place among European companies manufacturing medical hand tools. MEDICOR Hand InstrumentCo. has been operated as Hungary’s leading and one of the world’s reputable manufacturers and distributors of medical Instrumentfor more than half a century. Our products are sold in several countries around the globe (USA, Western and Eastern Europe, Russia, etc.).

Since its foundation in 1952, our company has been developing dynamically. Its successes are due to its well-trained, innovation-oriented and committed employees, managers who have made the company fulfill the requirements of more demanding markets (Germany, USA) effectively since the early 1970s. 93% of its sales revenues are realized on export, yet in Hungary its market share approximates 50%.

The Instrumentare made only from base materials complying with the criteria of medical use. Our company manufactures nearly 10,000 different types of surgical- and dental instruments, thereby supporting all the fields of human and veterinary medicine.

Quality is ensured by the base qualitative materials , the state-of-the-art manufacturing technology, manual processing and our headcount of 200 employees with outstanding professional experience.

Owing to the qualitative materials used for manufacturing and the moulded compounds, the shapes, hardness, flexibility and corrosion-protection properties of finished products meet the strictest market and user requirements.

There are several operations integrated in the manufacturing processes that are designed to guarantee the excellent quality of the released products. In order to enhance resistance to corrosion, every piece is subjected to chemical passivation, as well as corrosion testing in boiling distilled water prescribed by the relevant standards.

In the light of the existing user demands, Instrumentare manufactured with bright, satin or sand- blasted and various “colour-coded” finishes.

As our Instrumentface continuous quality and reliability expectations, a Quality Control Team is operated independently from the manufacturing units, and is in charge of testing the individual pieces with respect to the size, shape and surface of the given instruments, as well as its operation, and also preventing the delivery of defective Instrumentas required.

Our products are of excellent quality, their reliability has been acknowledged by our American and Western European partners for decades, and as a result they purchase or Instrumentcontinuously. As a domestic and international acknowledgement of high standards and quality, in 2000 the company was honoured with the National Quality Award, and in 2003 the European Quality Award.

Uniquely, MEDICOR Hand Instrument Co. undertakes 10 years of guarantee for all the products marketed under its own name. In the event of any defect of base materials or workmanship, the Instrumentare repaired or replaced as free of charges.

The quality management system of MEDICOR Hand Instrument Co. was certified by the EMKI according to ISO 9001 / ISO 13485.
